Change the Start Menu Position

1. Press the Windows 11 start menu and select Settings with the gear icon.

2. Select the Personalization tab from the left.

  • Scroll down the page and select the Taskbar tab.

3. Scroll down the new page and click on the Taskbar behaviors tab.

  • More features will open below the Taskbar behaviors tab. Click in front of the Taskbar alignment down arrow icon and select the Left option.

Your Windows 11 start menu will show left of your screen.

  • Click the top right corner X icon to close the window.

  • A new file will add below this page. Type this file name Start_ShowClassicMode text and click any empty area.

4. Double Click the newly created file to edit it. Under the Value, data type the 1 and press the OK button.

  • Click the top right corner X icon of the Registry Editor to close it.

Restart your computer to see the change.
